Narrative:

We were level at 17000 ft with an altimeter setting of 29.42. We were then cleared to FL190. Both the first officer and myself failed to reset our altimeters to 29.92 passing FL180. ATC asked us to verify we were level at FL190. We then realized we had failed to reset our altimeters. As a result; we were actually at FL195. We reset our altimeters; and descended to FL190. No traffic conflict occurred.
