Narrative:

I had the air carrier X flight sbound at FL320. I received a handoff on the air carrier Y flight; also sbound; climbing to 170. While I entered 'FL300' into the air carrier Y data block; I issued 'FL330' to the pilot. This put the 2 aircraft in eventual conflict. Why did I make such an error? I contribute it to mental fatigue. Too much time on position; the complete lack of available leave; and the threat of discipline if we call in sick; I am at work fatigued. I would not have been here today (sick leave) if I thought I wouldn't be disciplined. Safety is being compromised.
