Narrative:

Flying VFR from santa flight engineer; NM; to twin falls. WX not reported IFR. Clear from santa flight engineer past slc. Approximately 60 mi from twf; entered IMC. When I realized that I was IMC; I reported such to center; and they cleared me to land VOR approach at twf. At time I entered IMC; I was flying with flight following. As it was nighttime; over an unpopulated mountainous area; I did not realize that I had entered an unrpted IMC/IFR condition. I broke out at about 8000 ft MSL.
