Narrative:
The august 3RD edition of the airport/facility directory states that runway 4/22 at lex is grooved. An air carrier captain complained that the runway was not grooved. The airport/facility directory and the actual condition of the runway were different.callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the runway was not grooved at the time the report was made; but they may have been working on it.

Title: TWR CTLR AT LEX RPTS COMPLAINT FROM ACR CAPT THAT RWY 4/22 IS NOT GROOVED AS STATED IN THE ARPT/FACILITY DIRECTORY.
Narrative: THE AUGUST 3RD EDITION OF THE ARPT/FACILITY DIRECTORY STATES THAT RWY 4/22 AT LEX IS GROOVED. AN ACR CAPT COMPLAINED THAT THE RWY WAS NOT GROOVED. THE ARPT/FACILITY DIRECTORY AND THE ACTUAL CONDITION OF THE RWY WERE DIFFERENT.CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RWY WAS NOT GROOVED AT THE TIME THE RPT WAS MADE; BUT THEY MAY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON IT.
