Narrative:

We departed runway 36L; using the navas southeast departure. At approximately 400 ft AGL; I commenced a slow left turn to intercept the 322 degree radial off of ssy (on departure procedure). Ssy is situated approximately 1.3 mi north of our departure runway. As the aircraft was entering the outbound radial (pictorially); LNAV was selected. LNAV armed and engaged immediately; which gave commands to turn further left. Although we were not directly on the 322 degree radial off ssy; the departure procedure has another turn to the left to the 057 degree radial inbound to nvs. I followed the LNAV guidance which commanded a further left heading; as I concluded the LNAV was leading in for the left turn. Departure control contacted us and said that we were south of course. A 300 degree heading was maintained until intercepting the 057 degree radial inbound to nvs. The airport is extremely noise sensitive; and I suspect being south of the SID may have set off the noise monitors. We continued our flight as planned and the flight continued uneventful.

Title: A PLT RPTS TURNING EARLY ON THE LEMD NAVAS 5E DEP AND VIOLATING THE NEARBY VILLAGE NOISE ABATEMENT PROC.

Narrative: WE DEPARTED RWY 36L; USING THE NAVAS SE DEP. AT APPROX 400 FT AGL; I COMMENCED A SLOW L TURN TO INTERCEPT THE 322 DEG RADIAL OFF OF SSY (ON DEP PROC). SSY IS SITUATED APPROX 1.3 MI N OF OUR DEP RWY. AS THE ACFT WAS ENTERING THE OUTBOUND RADIAL (PICTORIALLY); LNAV WAS SELECTED. LNAV ARMED AND ENGAGED IMMEDIATELY; WHICH GAVE COMMANDS TO TURN FURTHER L. ALTHOUGH WE WERE NOT DIRECTLY ON THE 322 DEG RADIAL OFF SSY; THE DEP PROC HAS ANOTHER TURN TO THE L TO THE 057 DEG RADIAL INBOUND TO NVS. I FOLLOWED THE LNAV GUIDANCE WHICH COMMANDED A FURTHER L HDG; AS I CONCLUDED THE LNAV WAS LEADING IN FOR THE L TURN. DEP CTL CONTACTED US AND SAID THAT WE WERE S OF COURSE. A 300 DEG HDG WAS MAINTAINED UNTIL INTERCEPTING THE 057 DEG RADIAL INBOUND TO NVS. THE ARPT IS EXTREMELY NOISE SENSITIVE; AND I SUSPECT BEING S OF THE SID MAY HAVE SET OFF THE NOISE MONITORS. WE CONTINUED OUR FLT AS PLANNED AND THE FLT CONTINUED UNEVENTFUL.
