Narrative:

Frequency 125.57. During a busy period with inbounds to atl and deviations around thunderstorm; 125.57 along with several other co-located frequencys went out. Buec worked; but was very scratchy. Subsequent checks showed the frequency working for a few seconds and then loss of frequency would reoccur. This is happening on a frequent basis whenever WX is anywhere near the transmitter/receiver site. I was told they are working to fix and or replace the generator but that progress is slow. Whatever the reason for the delay; this is a very serious problem that needs fixing. The affected frequencys 125.57; 120.45 and 134.6 are all frequencys that are used on our busiest inbound sectors feeding the atl airport.
