Narrative:
During a busy taxi out of iad including a xbleed start; and ATC re-route while taxiing. Final weights were normally received and entered into the FMC. The weight was approximately 8000 pounds less than planned. Speeds were rebugged and a normal uneventful takeoff followed. Reaching cruise altitude in a conversation with the purser led me to get an actual passenger count which was different than on the final weights from load planning via ACARS. 07/28/91 was sent by load planning; 10/32/133 was on the purser's manifest and; 10/28/124 was the actual head count taken at cruise altitude. I notified load planning via ACARS of the problem and new final weights were sent. A difference of 7200 pounds in zero fuel weight was re-sent while airborne and corrected into the FMC for landing data.

Title: A B767-300 FLT CREW TOOK OFF WITH INCORRECT WTS FROM LOAD PLANNING.
Narrative: DURING A BUSY TAXI OUT OF IAD INCLUDING A XBLEED START; AND ATC RE-RTE WHILE TAXIING. FINAL WTS WERE NORMALLY RECEIVED AND ENTERED INTO THE FMC. THE WT WAS APPROX 8000 LBS LESS THAN PLANNED. SPDS WERE REBUGGED AND A NORMAL UNEVENTFUL TKOF FOLLOWED. REACHING CRUISE ALT IN A CONVERSATION WITH THE PURSER LED ME TO GET AN ACTUAL PAX COUNT WHICH WAS DIFFERENT THAN ON THE FINAL WTS FROM LOAD PLANNING VIA ACARS. 07/28/91 WAS SENT BY LOAD PLANNING; 10/32/133 WAS ON THE PURSER'S MANIFEST AND; 10/28/124 WAS THE ACTUAL HEAD COUNT TAKEN AT CRUISE ALT. I NOTIFIED LOAD PLANNING VIA ACARS OF THE PROB AND NEW FINAL WTS WERE SENT. A DIFFERENCE OF 7200 LBS IN ZERO FUEL WT WAS RE-SENT WHILE AIRBORNE AND CORRECTED INTO THE FMC FOR LNDG DATA.
