Aircraft number in ZZZ for B check. Time control change of primary stabilizer trim motor. Part was changed and operations checked using MD80 maintenance manual references not maintenance check manual card. There is no way to xchk what items have maintenance check manual work cards. No links from maintenance manuals -- no red flags. We have done so with lower minimum performance items in maintenance manual; but not maintenance check manual cards!
