Narrative:

During takeoff we received an RA at about 5000 ft and dove the aircraft from about 5800 ft to about 4800 ft to follow the RA and turned from 340 degrees to 290 degrees. Pitch down was about 5 degrees and bank of about 30 degrees. This was to get out of the way of a group of aircraft that were doing an airshow. The first officer said he saw the aircraft about 400 ft above and about 1 mi. There were no complaints from the passenger or the flight attendants. We were given a turn to 290 degrees from 340 degrees at about the same time as the RA. We told the controller that we were following an RA. After the RA we climbed back to 6000 ft.
