Narrative:
While cleaning the aircraft center aisle carpet; I noticed 2 white wires; each approximately 4 inches long; apparently connected to the emergency exit track lighting. Fearful that the wires could be pulled loose or a passenger could get entangled in them and fall; I covered the wires with cloth tape and wrote a note to the pilot informing him of what I found; the location; and what I did about it. I then affixed the note to the cockpit door.
