Narrative:

In cruise phase of flight; I was the first officer flying; received a left hydraulic pump EICAS message. Captain and myself completed irregular procedure flight manual shutting down engine hydraulic pump. Notified with appropriate code; but failed to notify dispatcher. Hydraulic quantity was checked normal and determined no adverse effect on operation or safety of flight compromised and continued to destination. Setting up for our approach to landing; noticed gear and flap extension were slower than normal. We chose to make a flaps 25 degree landing with appropriate speed corrections so as not to compromise stable approach criteria in VMC. After normal touchdown and clearing runway 35R we received a left hydraulic quantity message on EICAS. We initially attempted to retract flaps using alternate flap system but upon selection of status page and seeing left hydraulic quantity rapidly decreasing; aborted procedure. Stopped short of gate and captain had ground crew tow us in.

Title: A B757-200 FLT CREW IN CRUISE FLT EXPERIENCED LOSS OF L HYD PUMP. UPON LNDG; THEY LOST L HYD SYS FLUID.

Narrative: IN CRUISE PHASE OF FLT; I WAS THE FO FLYING; RECEIVED A L HYD PUMP EICAS MESSAGE. CAPT AND MYSELF COMPLETED IRREGULAR PROC FLT MANUAL SHUTTING DOWN ENG HYD PUMP. NOTIFIED WITH APPROPRIATE CODE; BUT FAILED TO NOTIFY DISPATCHER. HYD QUANTITY WAS CHKED NORMAL AND DETERMINED NO ADVERSE EFFECT ON OP OR SAFETY OF FLT COMPROMISED AND CONTINUED TO DEST. SETTING UP FOR OUR APCH TO LNDG; NOTICED GEAR AND FLAP EXTENSION WERE SLOWER THAN NORMAL. WE CHOSE TO MAKE A FLAPS 25 DEG LNDG WITH APPROPRIATE SPD CORRECTIONS SO AS NOT TO COMPROMISE STABLE APCH CRITERIA IN VMC. AFTER NORMAL TOUCHDOWN AND CLRING RWY 35R WE RECEIVED A L HYD QUANTITY MESSAGE ON EICAS. WE INITIALLY ATTEMPTED TO RETRACT FLAPS USING ALTERNATE FLAP SYS BUT UPON SELECTION OF STATUS PAGE AND SEEING L HYD QUANTITY RAPIDLY DECREASING; ABORTED PROC. STOPPED SHORT OF GATE AND CAPT HAD GND CREW TOW US IN.
