Narrative:

There was a filter button popped on the hydraulic system #3. In the past all that was required is that if it was not a recurrent problem that the button be pushed. The new work wanted you to do a contamination check and if contaminated you flush the system and change the filter. I did a visual inspection and found no metal; so I changed the filter and I thought I was good to go. I came to find out that a sample has to be taken and tested with a kit or the entire hydraulic system has to be drained and service along with changing the filter; and system bleed. I drained the entire system #3; 2 days later which makes me think that I am now fully complying with the requirement.
