Narrative:

After normal; stabilized approach to runway 16L; touchdown was firm; but not hard by fom definition. Flight attendants called cockpit on taxi in to inform that door covering emergency raft in aft ceiling had opened and someone had been struck. A maintenance write-up was entered into ACARS due to raft door opening. In-flight supervisor and paramedics were notified due to passenger being struck by door. Paramedic informed me after examining passenger that door had struck the back of the passenger seat and the passenger complained of a little discomfort.

Title: A B757-200 EXPERIENCED A FIRM LNDG; CAUSING AN EMER RAFT CEILING DOOR TO DISLODGE; STRIKING A PAX SEAT AND CAUSING POSSIBLE MINOR INJURIES.

Narrative: AFTER NORMAL; STABILIZED APCH TO RWY 16L; TOUCHDOWN WAS FIRM; BUT NOT HARD BY FOM DEFINITION. FLT ATTENDANTS CALLED COCKPIT ON TAXI IN TO INFORM THAT DOOR COVERING EMER RAFT IN AFT CEILING HAD OPENED AND SOMEONE HAD BEEN STRUCK. A MAINT WRITE-UP WAS ENTERED INTO ACARS DUE TO RAFT DOOR OPENING. INFLT SUPVR AND PARAMEDICS WERE NOTIFIED DUE TO PAX BEING STRUCK BY DOOR. PARAMEDIC INFORMED ME AFTER EXAMINING PAX THAT DOOR HAD STRUCK THE BACK OF THE PAX SEAT AND THE PAX COMPLAINED OF A LITTLE DISCOMFORT.
