Narrative:

We began takeoff roll from runway 36R at tpa. At 80 KTS; I made the '80 KTS' call; and immediately following; we received a 'forward entry' door light and I called it out to the captain. He initiated a rejected takeoff at approximately 90 KTS. Immediately after he began the reject; the light went out. I told tower that we had rejected and we pulled off the runway. We reviewed checklist and pilot handbook recommended 12 mins cooling. Flight attendant stated that as we began the reject; the 'C' flight attendant tried to brace herself and grabbed the door handle. When doing so; she said that it went further into a locked position; hence the light going out during the reject. We had no door light prior to takeoff or during 'recall;' so I can only assume it was closed enough to give a closed indication; but during the bumps during takeoff roll; it must have 'loosened' just enough to give an open indication. Subsequent takeoff roll was normal and we continued on.

Title: A B737-700 FLT CREW ON TKOF ROLL AT TPA NOTICED A FORWARD ENTRY DOOR LIGHT ILLUMINATE. THE TKOF WAS ABORTED; AND AFTER SECURING THE DOOR AND COOLING THE BRAKES; THE FLT CONTINUED.

Narrative: WE BEGAN TKOF ROLL FROM RWY 36R AT TPA. AT 80 KTS; I MADE THE '80 KTS' CALL; AND IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING; WE RECEIVED A 'FORWARD ENTRY' DOOR LIGHT AND I CALLED IT OUT TO THE CAPT. HE INITIATED A REJECTED TKOF AT APPROX 90 KTS. IMMEDIATELY AFTER HE BEGAN THE REJECT; THE LIGHT WENT OUT. I TOLD TWR THAT WE HAD REJECTED AND WE PULLED OFF THE RWY. WE REVIEWED CHKLIST AND PLT HANDBOOK RECOMMENDED 12 MINS COOLING. FLT ATTENDANT STATED THAT AS WE BEGAN THE REJECT; THE 'C' FLT ATTENDANT TRIED TO BRACE HERSELF AND GRABBED THE DOOR HANDLE. WHEN DOING SO; SHE SAID THAT IT WENT FURTHER INTO A LOCKED POS; HENCE THE LIGHT GOING OUT DURING THE REJECT. WE HAD NO DOOR LIGHT PRIOR TO TKOF OR DURING 'RECALL;' SO I CAN ONLY ASSUME IT WAS CLOSED ENOUGH TO GIVE A CLOSED INDICATION; BUT DURING THE BUMPS DURING TKOF ROLL; IT MUST HAVE 'LOOSENED' JUST ENOUGH TO GIVE AN OPEN INDICATION. SUBSEQUENT TKOF ROLL WAS NORMAL AND WE CONTINUED ON.
