Narrative:

As a result of flying 7 of the last 8 days and the previous trip was 8+ hours in 24 with a minimum rest; I was fatigued to the point that on our return leg was falling asleep in my seat. I tried to mitigate that by standing and engaging in conversation. Upon arrival at XA57 we were informed that our next flight to iah was delayed and that our estimated departure was XE15 with an arrival time of XH30 in iah. As we were waiting in operations; I would begin to fall asleep sitting down. It became apparent that I should not continue. Crew desk was notified.
