Narrative:

Just at moment of starting rotation; the rudders and the aircraft jerked momentarily slightly left. Everything else after that was normal. We reported it to maintenance. It was felt by the PNF and flight attendants. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the first officer was making the takeoff but the rudder pedals were being monitored by the reporter and the first officer and the reporter noted the rudder pedal deflection. It was definitely not a wind gust! The airplane was turned over to maintenance with a logbook report on the incident. The reporter has received no information on the maintenance action taken.
