Narrative:

I was PF first officer. Our flight attendant called and spoke to the captain; PNF. He told me that the rear flight attendant had an oven on and 'some crumbs' were smoking in the oven. There was no problem. On arrival; we learned that a fire extinguisher was used but the bottle was still in 'the green.' we notified maintenance in sna. They issued a new extinguisher and inspected the oven for corrosion. The flight attendant was senior and experienced and; we believed; used her professional judgement. I would have liked more information in case a diversion could have been made.
