Narrative:

We were on a descending vector to the ILS runway 28R sfo. A B767 was on a departure from sjc. We received a TCAS RA while in a descending turn to the left to line up for runway 28R sfo. I pitched the aircraft down to follow the TCAS guidance until we were clear of conflict. I would estimate we passed co-altitude less than 1/2 mi. The other aircraft queried the controller about the incident to which he responded 'you said you had visual contact. Check your remarks.' we did not query the controller.
