Narrative:

I was doing shakedown for C1 checks on aircraft. While in the east&east bays; part of a task is to look over the cables. While doing this on aircraft X I noticed green tape wrapped around the cables over the air data #2; so I made out a non routine work card to remove. The next night I had the same area on aircraft Y and in the forward east&east bay I found the same green tape on cables in there. We do not use this green masking tape. It must be being missed at a vendor's.
