Narrative:

After pushback from the gate; we received the clearance 'taxi runway 25 via taxiway D; cross runway 21 at taxiway D; and turn left on taxiway C.' I read back the clearance and the captain started to taxi. The taxi checklist was completed and our flight attendants were seated. We crossed runway 21 on taxiway D as instructed and turned left on taxiway C. Taxiway C is a newer addition to the geg airport; neither I nor the captain had used it before. The captain asked me to confirm that he was indeed on taxiway C and I concurred. As we taxied down taxiway C; I was looking outside the aircraft; scanning for traffic in the pattern. As I looked straight in front of the aircraft on the taxiway; I saw a hold short line that we were just about to cross. I told the captain; but it was already too late. After we crossed the line; I immediately let the tower know that we were ready. The controller responded that we were clear for takeoff. I responded. The controller then asked if we saw the hold short line. The captain responded; 'not until it was too late.' the controller responded that we are 'zero for three so far this morning.' supplemental information from acn 696594: there was no traffic around; so I stole a glance over at the FBO to admire some GA aircraft. About that time; my first officer says that he thinks we just went past a hold short line. We were still about 1000 ft from the end of the runway where the hold short line used to be. The tower confirmed that we did indeed miss the hold short and they were batting about 0 for 3 on that issue so far this morning!

Title: FLT CREW HAS A RWY INCURSION AT RWY 25 GEG.

Narrative: AFTER PUSHBACK FROM THE GATE; WE RECEIVED THE CLRNC 'TAXI RWY 25 VIA TXWY D; CROSS RWY 21 AT TXWY D; AND TURN L ON TXWY C.' I READ BACK THE CLRNC AND THE CAPT STARTED TO TAXI. THE TAXI CHKLIST WAS COMPLETED AND OUR FLT ATTENDANTS WERE SEATED. WE CROSSED RWY 21 ON TXWY D AS INSTRUCTED AND TURNED L ON TXWY C. TXWY C IS A NEWER ADDITION TO THE GEG ARPT; NEITHER I NOR THE CAPT HAD USED IT BEFORE. THE CAPT ASKED ME TO CONFIRM THAT HE WAS INDEED ON TXWY C AND I CONCURRED. AS WE TAXIED DOWN TXWY C; I WAS LOOKING OUTSIDE THE ACFT; SCANNING FOR TFC IN THE PATTERN. AS I LOOKED STRAIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ACFT ON THE TXWY; I SAW A HOLD SHORT LINE THAT WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO CROSS. I TOLD THE CAPT; BUT IT WAS ALREADY TOO LATE. AFTER WE CROSSED THE LINE; I IMMEDIATELY LET THE TWR KNOW THAT WE WERE READY. THE CTLR RESPONDED THAT WE WERE CLR FOR TKOF. I RESPONDED. THE CTLR THEN ASKED IF WE SAW THE HOLD SHORT LINE. THE CAPT RESPONDED; 'NOT UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE.' THE CTLR RESPONDED THAT WE ARE 'ZERO FOR THREE SO FAR THIS MORNING.' SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 696594: THERE WAS NO TFC AROUND; SO I STOLE A GLANCE OVER AT THE FBO TO ADMIRE SOME GA ACFT. ABOUT THAT TIME; MY FO SAYS THAT HE THINKS WE JUST WENT PAST A HOLD SHORT LINE. WE WERE STILL ABOUT 1000 FT FROM THE END OF THE RWY WHERE THE HOLD SHORT LINE USED TO BE. THE TWR CONFIRMED THAT WE DID INDEED MISS THE HOLD SHORT AND THEY WERE BATTING ABOUT 0 FOR 3 ON THAT ISSUE SO FAR THIS MORNING!
