Narrative:

I was relocating air carrier X from the pad to the gate. I was in the left seat and another technician was in the right seat; we were being towed off the pad and preparing to taxi after engine start. I red through my checklist quickly and missed turning my ('a' hydraulic engine driven pump) off. The tow bar sheared and damaged the tow fitting on the aircraft. I right&right'ed the tow fitting on the nose landing gear and inspected for further damage; none found and returned the aircraft to service.
