Narrative:
Had previously lost AC xtie lockout with no apparent generator anomalies. About 15 mins later; left generator failed; also failing automatic control of left pressure controller and other less bothersome system. Center granted descent to FL250. Declared emergency for a short time to get control of the pressurization. Canceled the emergency a short time later.

ABOUT 15 MINS LATER; L GENERATOR FAILED; ALSO FAILING AUTOMATIC CTL OF L PRESSURE CTLR AND OTHER LESS BOTHERSOME SYS. CTR GRANTED DSCNT TO FL250. DECLARED EMER FOR A SHORT TIME TO GET CTL OF THE PRESSURIZATION. CANCELED THE EMER A SHORT TIME LATER.
