Narrative:

Our aircraft was stopped; holding short of runway 9L on the west most taxi line perpendicular to the runway. While staring out the window; another carrier airbus taxied past our aircraft from back to front on the first officer side at extremely close range. A collective gasp! Was heard in the back of the aircraft from the passenger as we all cringed/braced for impact. The left wing fence of the airbus overlapped the right wing of our aircraft as they maneuvered past at an angle approximately 20 degrees to the right of our heading at a normal taxi speed. Estimated vertical miss distance from my vantage point was 1-2 ft. I managed to get the tail number of the airbus. We departed immediately behind this flight.
