Narrative:

Replaced hpv valve performed engine run; leak checks engine run and functional checks were normal. Later learned that aircraft had an aborted takeoff. Aircraft executed a low speed aborted takeoff 2 days after hpv valve was replaced. Maintenance discovered a loose joint downstream of hpv which was corrected by replacement of seals and reinstallation.

Title: A B757-200 ABORTED TKOF DUE TO AN ENG OVERHEAT WARNING. FOUND A LOOSE JOINT IN THE PNEUMATIC DUCTING DOWNSTREAM OF A RECENTLY REPLACED HIGH PRESSURE BLEED SHUTOFF VALVE.

Narrative: REPLACED HPV VALVE PERFORMED ENG RUN; LEAK CHKS ENG RUN AND FUNCTIONAL CHKS WERE NORMAL. LATER LEARNED THAT ACFT HAD AN ABORTED TKOF.
