Narrative:

First aircraft issued FL300 cleared for takeoff. Second aircraft issued runway heading of runway 35 cleared for takeoff. Subsequently; local west advises he turned a DHC8 off runway 27L to 300 degree heading. I immediately turned my DHC8 back northbound 350 degrees. The rj was runway heading off runway 35. When they said they were IMC; I turned CRJ2 to 020 degrees.

Title: PHL LCL CTLR EXPERIENCED NEAR SEPARATION LOSS WHEN COORD BTWN THE LCL CTLRS GOT CONFUSED.

Narrative: FIRST ACFT ISSUED FL300 CLRED FOR TKOF. SECOND ACFT ISSUED RWY HDG OF RWY 35 CLRED FOR TKOF. SUBSEQUENTLY; LCL W ADVISES HE TURNED A DHC8 OFF RWY 27L TO 300 DEG HDG. I IMMEDIATELY TURNED MY DHC8 BACK NBOUND 350 DEGS. THE RJ WAS RWY HDG OFF RWY 35. WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE IMC; I TURNED CRJ2 TO 020 DEGS.
