Narrative:
On mar/tue/06; I accomplished work card. At the time of aircraft being put back to its normal confign; all system checked ok. I was later informed that the lock pin was found in the wheel well; but to my recollection all lock pins were removed accomplishing work card.

Title: A B737-800 WAS RELEASED FROM HVY MAINT WITH A SLAT ACTUATOR LOCKOUT VALVE PINNED. PIN NOT REMOVED AT MAINT.
Narrative: ON MAR/TUE/06; I ACCOMPLISHED WORK CARD. AT THE TIME OF ACFT BEING PUT BACK TO ITS NORMAL CONFIGN; ALL SYS CHKED OK. I WAS LATER INFORMED THAT THE LOCK PIN WAS FOUND IN THE WHEEL WELL; BUT TO MY RECOLLECTION ALL LOCK PINS WERE REMOVED ACCOMPLISHING WORK CARD.
