Narrative:
On the runway I was given a clearance to taxi to the ramp on this frequency. I did not hear the hold short part of the clearance. I remember saying the readback 'taxi ramp this frequency.' I was so sure that I had a clearance direct to the ramp that I was going to argue about it until the other person in the plane said no you had a hold short instruction in the clearance.

Title: PLT OF SMA FAILS TO HEED HOLD SHORT ELEMENT OF TAXI CLRNC.
Narrative: ON THE RWY I WAS GIVEN A CLRNC TO TAXI TO THE RAMP ON THIS FREQ. I DID NOT HEAR THE HOLD SHORT PART OF THE CLRNC. I REMEMBER SAYING THE READBACK 'TAXI RAMP THIS FREQ.' I WAS SO SURE THAT I HAD A CLRNC DIRECT TO THE RAMP THAT I WAS GOING TO ARGUE ABOUT IT UNTIL THE OTHER PERSON IN THE PLANE SAID NO YOU HAD A HOLD SHORT INSTRUCTION IN THE CLRNC.
