Narrative:
Cleared for takeoff to 14000 ft MSL and assigned the pomona 6 departure. Misunderstood controller's request to comply with SID restr; and misread the SID caused us to deviation from the crossing altitude. We crossed pom VOR at 9200 ft MSL instead of 8000 ft MSL.

Narrative: CLRED FOR TKOF TO 14000 FT MSL AND ASSIGNED THE POMONA 6 DEP. MISUNDERSTOOD CTLR'S REQUEST TO COMPLY WITH SID RESTR; AND MISREAD THE SID CAUSED US TO DEV FROM THE XING ALT. WE CROSSED POM VOR AT 9200 FT MSL INSTEAD OF 8000 FT MSL.
