Narrative:
Prior to push; heard banging on the aircraft. Passenger and flight attendants also heard banging from below. First officer being blamed for ramp worked locked in baggage pit 3-4. We heard banging from below. First officer went down and let ramp worker out. Pit was empty and worker said he was resting in pit when it was closed. Please note this pit is not heated and at altitude worker would perish.

Narrative: PRIOR TO PUSH; HEARD BANGING ON THE ACFT. PAX AND FLT ATTENDANTS ALSO HEARD BANGING FROM BELOW. FO BEING BLAMED FOR RAMP WORKED LOCKED IN BAGGAGE PIT 3-4. WE HEARD BANGING FROM BELOW. FO WENT DOWN AND LET RAMP WORKER OUT. PIT WAS EMPTY AND WORKER SAID HE WAS RESTING IN PIT WHEN IT WAS CLOSED. PLEASE NOTE THIS PIT IS NOT HEATED AND AT ALT WORKER WOULD PERISH.
