Narrative:

On takeoff just after rotation we had EICAS warnings of bleed off engine #1; bleed loss; and pack off #1. I climbed to cruise altitude after talking to dispatch and maintenance. Once level per maintenance direction; left bleed reset was attempted. Bleed held for 6 mins then tripped. This time; left pneumatic isolation valve stayed open keeping left pack operation. With left bleed failure ETOPS unable. After discussion with maintenance and dispatch; diversion planned with overweight landing by 30000 pounds. Normal landing; no undue stress on aircraft.
