Narrative:

While servicing APU oil; I spilled oil on my jacket. Went to clean myself off and forgot to replace oil cap. Aircraft flew to ZZZ where APU had an automatic shutdown. ZZZ mechanic found oil cap off; svced APU oil. APU operated normal. I should have replaced oil cap before cleaning my jacket.

Title: A B757-200 WAS DISPATCHED WITH THE APU OIL CAP NOT INSTALLED AFTER OIL SVCING.

Narrative: WHILE SVCING APU OIL; I SPILLED OIL ON MY JACKET. WENT TO CLEAN MYSELF OFF AND FORGOT TO REPLACE OIL CAP. ACFT FLEW TO ZZZ WHERE APU HAD AN AUTO SHUTDOWN. ZZZ MECH FOUND OIL CAP OFF; SVCED APU OIL. APU OPERATED NORMAL. I SHOULD HAVE REPLACED OIL CAP BEFORE CLEANING MY JACKET.
