Narrative:

I observed what I believed to be a C130 in the lakes area. I had already advised the lakes helicopter to contact eglin approach when the MOA alpha went active. When the conflict alert activated; I called the traffic to the helicopter on the lakes frequency and the helicopter said he had the C130 in sight. I questioned the pilot as to whether eglin approach had told him about the traffic. He said no. The targets merged on my scope -- helicopter indicating 1900 ft; C130 indicating 1800 ft. Once again; the lakes area has proven to be an extremely dangerous operation; especially when eglin either ignores or simply refuses to call traffic to the helicopters operating in their active MOA.

Title: P31 CTLR DESCRIBED NMAC AT 1800 FT WITH 2 VFR ACFT AS TRANSITING HELI WAS NOT ISSUED CONFLICTING TFC BY AN ADJACENT FACILITY CTLR.

Narrative: I OBSERVED WHAT I BELIEVED TO BE A C130 IN THE LAKES AREA. I HAD ALREADY ADVISED THE LAKES HELI TO CONTACT EGLIN APCH WHEN THE MOA ALPHA WENT ACTIVE. WHEN THE CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED; I CALLED THE TFC TO THE HELI ON THE LAKES FREQ AND THE HELI SAID HE HAD THE C130 IN SIGHT. I QUESTIONED THE PLT AS TO WHETHER EGLIN APCH HAD TOLD HIM ABOUT THE TFC. HE SAID NO. THE TARGETS MERGED ON MY SCOPE -- HELI INDICATING 1900 FT; C130 INDICATING 1800 FT. ONCE AGAIN; THE LAKES AREA HAS PROVEN TO BE AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS OP; ESPECIALLY WHEN EGLIN EITHER IGNORES OR SIMPLY REFUSES TO CALL TFC TO THE HELIS OPERATING IN THEIR ACTIVE MOA.
