Narrative:

The ATC clearance was verified against the FMS entries and the flight plan. The flight was cleared; dfw-jax; CLARE2 RNAV departure; swb; as filed. The flight plan and all waypoints along the route were checked and verified prior to gate departure. Flight departed runway 35L at dfw normally. At 400 ft navigation mode engaged; with autoplt coming on at 500 ft. The flight tracked normally along the clare departure. The speed was adjusted to normal after passing mavvs. The flight passed clare with fuel and time being noted. At this time both pilots adjusted the range scales for en route climb and WX avoidance. All appeared normal. ATC inquired if we were on the CLARE2 departure; I replied; 'yes.' ATC then informed us we were not tracking to tekbe. I replied that the winds were strong at altitude; and he then gave us a heading for tekbe then cleared us to swb. ATC asked if we were cleared by departure control direct to clare; we replied no. It was then determined by the crew that the 2 waypoints; poten and tekbe; for some reason were dropped from the FMS; and that the aircraft proceeded clare direct swb. ATC said that there were no conflicts but needed to follow up for the RNAV program at dfw.supplemental information from acn 684251: we checked our clearance for flight dfw-jax against our FMS entries (runway 35L along with the CLARE2.clare RNAV departure points and flight plane route).

Title: MD80 FLT CREW FAILS TO FLY EXPECTED TRANSITION RTE ON CLARE RNAV SID FROM DFW.

Narrative: THE ATC CLRNC WAS VERIFIED AGAINST THE FMS ENTRIES AND THE FLT PLAN. THE FLT WAS CLRED; DFW-JAX; CLARE2 RNAV DEP; SWB; AS FILED. THE FLT PLAN AND ALL WAYPOINTS ALONG THE RTE WERE CHKED AND VERIFIED PRIOR TO GATE DEP. FLT DEPARTED RWY 35L AT DFW NORMALLY. AT 400 FT NAV MODE ENGAGED; WITH AUTOPLT COMING ON AT 500 FT. THE FLT TRACKED NORMALLY ALONG THE CLARE DEP. THE SPD WAS ADJUSTED TO NORMAL AFTER PASSING MAVVS. THE FLT PASSED CLARE WITH FUEL AND TIME BEING NOTED. AT THIS TIME BOTH PLTS ADJUSTED THE RANGE SCALES FOR ENRTE CLB AND WX AVOIDANCE. ALL APPEARED NORMAL. ATC INQUIRED IF WE WERE ON THE CLARE2 DEP; I REPLIED; 'YES.' ATC THEN INFORMED US WE WERE NOT TRACKING TO TEKBE. I REPLIED THAT THE WINDS WERE STRONG AT ALT; AND HE THEN GAVE US A HDG FOR TEKBE THEN CLRED US TO SWB. ATC ASKED IF WE WERE CLRED BY DEP CTL DIRECT TO CLARE; WE REPLIED NO. IT WAS THEN DETERMINED BY THE CREW THAT THE 2 WAYPOINTS; POTEN AND TEKBE; FOR SOME REASON WERE DROPPED FROM THE FMS; AND THAT THE ACFT PROCEEDED CLARE DIRECT SWB. ATC SAID THAT THERE WERE NO CONFLICTS BUT NEEDED TO FOLLOW UP FOR THE RNAV PROGRAM AT DFW.SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 684251: WE CHKED OUR CLRNC FOR FLT DFW-JAX AGAINST OUR FMS ENTRIES (RWY 35L ALONG WITH THE CLARE2.CLARE RNAV DEP POINTS AND FLT PLANE RTE).
