Narrative:
I installed -300/-500 tires on aircraft X which is a -700. This was later discovered. This mechanic documented the error and installed the proper nose tires. I must have been rushing and not looked close at the tag and the paint markings on the tire. Possible fix: use paint of different colors for -300/-500 and -700 series aircraft on the side of the tire stem side.

Narrative: I INSTALLED -300/-500 TIRES ON ACFT X WHICH IS A -700. THIS WAS LATER DISCOVERED. THIS MECH DOCUMENTED THE ERROR AND INSTALLED THE PROPER NOSE TIRES. I MUST HAVE BEEN RUSHING AND NOT LOOKED CLOSE AT THE TAG AND THE PAINT MARKINGS ON THE TIRE. POSSIBLE FIX: USE PAINT OF DIFFERENT COLORS FOR -300/-500 AND -700 SERIES ACFT ON THE SIDE OF THE TIRE STEM SIDE.
