Narrative:

We were cleared for takeoff on runway 13 at rst. Tower reported the visibility as 1/4 mile. While taxiing on to the runway; we observed the first 1000 ft of runway centerline lights as red; followed by the next 2000 ft of runway centerline lights as alternating red/white. Beyond the beginning 3000 ft; the runway centerline lights were white. Prior to starting the takeoff roll; we verified the correct runway and position by noting the '13' markings on the pavement. It appears the centerline light lenses were installed incorrectly at the beginning of runway 13.

Title: PLT RPTS RST RWY 13 CENTERLINE LIGHTS WHEN VIEWED FROM A TKOF POSITION INDICATE 1000 FT RED; 2000 FT WHITE; AND THEN ALL WHITE. AIM INDICATES LIGHTS SHOULD BE ALL WHITE AT RWY DEPARTURE END.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 13 AT RST. TWR RPTED THE VISIBILITY AS 1/4 MILE. BEYOND THE BEGINNING 3000 FT; THE RWY CENTERLINE LIGHTS WERE WHITE. PRIOR TO STARTING THE TKOF ROLL; WE VERIFIED THE CORRECT RWY AND POSITION BY NOTING THE '13' MARKINGS ON THE PAVEMENT. IT APPEARS THE CENTERLINE LIGHT LENSES WERE INSTALLED INCORRECTLY AT THE BEGINNING OF RWY 13.
