Narrative:

During the copilot's walkaround; he saw that the mechanics had just discovered that at some previous maintenance point someone had left 29 screws out of a panel that requires 35 screws. This was on the left engine pylon. I remember that the engine fell off the DC10 because someone went on break; or was it a shift change? As the captain; I really don't want parts breaking loose and hitting the airplane or someone on the ground.

THIS WAS ON THE L ENG PYLON. I REMEMBER THAT THE ENG FELL OFF THE DC10 BECAUSE SOMEONE WENT ON BREAK; OR WAS IT A SHIFT CHANGE? AS THE CAPT; I REALLY DON'T WANT PARTS BREAKING LOOSE AND HITTING THE AIRPLANE OR SOMEONE ON THE GND.
