Narrative:

After being cleared for takeoff on runway 30; the before takeoff checklist was completed and; thus; we proceeded under normal conditions with the takeoff. The takeoff warning horn sounded and the takeoff was aborted and tower was notified. No assistance required. Assuming that something on the before takeoff checklist had been missed; the checklist was completed again. In finding nothing out of the ordinary; the consensus was to re-attempt the takeoff. Again; after being cleared for takeoff; the before takeoff checklist was completed and; thus; we proceeded with a normal takeoff. As with the first attempt; the takeoff warning horn sounded and the takeoff was aborted; at which point; it was decided to return to the ramp and reassess the situation. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that maintenance found the parking brake warning light circuit had failed. The bulb was replaced and it was found the socket may have been defective. The reporter stated that this circuit and the parking brake circuit are an input to the takeoff warning system in addition to stabilizer and spoilers. Reporter noted that the parking brake warning system is not on the takeoff checklist.
