Narrative:

Pilot report. Passenger main door seal squealing. Cleared seal and note surface. Noted some wear/deterioration on seal. Felt it should possibly need replacement. After discussions with supervisor and flight crew; determined that they would make flight due to ability to pressurize aircraft on ground sufficiently high. Pilots had previously pressurized aircraft on inbound to +4.5 psi and found no fault with pressurization system. Maintenance wanted aircraft pressurization verified. Stated in corrective action that aircraft pressurized to 4.5 psi per crew information. Aircraft could not be run-up to verify that high of psid on ground. Pressurization was never the question. The seal was written on return for squeal at 5+ psid.
