Narrative:

My aircraft #XXX was defueled at approximately XA30 on oct/sun/05. The tanker truck was about to fuel aircraft #YYY. Dispatch; maintenance technician; and I all thought that 'defueled fuel' should not be used again without special filtration. Fueler at ZZZ told me that they 'defuel into their tanker trucks all the time.' I believe that #YYY received my fuel without proper filtration. What is the real story on 'defueled fuel?' why isn't this addressed in flight manual; part 1? Why is there so much defueling going on at ZZZ? What are my options if I feel that my release includes too much fuel?
