Narrative:

On oct/sat/05; I was participating in an engine change on aircraft X. I incorrectly installed the aft mount washer on the #2 engine. There is a big side and a small side to the washer. The small side should face downward and mate with the locknut. I had the small side facing upward. On oct/wed/05; I ws installing a #1 engine on aircraft Y. It was at this time that I realized the mistake. I immediately notified my duty manager of the problem. The aircraft was located on the ground in ZZZ1. ZZZ1 maintenance was notified; an inspection performed which verified the incorrect installation. It was my understanding that ZZZ maintenance was going to lower the #2 engine and correct this condition immediately.
