Narrative:

Opc was inoperative. When arriving at aircraft; I called dispatch and gave him all of the requested data. I heard him ask for weight and I gave him out zero fuel weight because this is the first item that is entered after the ATOG; which he did not ask for. He verified the information I had given him; including ATIS and load sheet information. I read out loud the information he gave me as he was giving it to me and the captain and I both copied down. On takeoff; I had to pull more back stick than I usually do. The plane took up more runway than we had expected. Takeoff was otherwise normal. I questioned the stabilizer trim setting and we then took the opc out which needed to charge and now was working. We determined that dispatch entered in the zero fuel weight into the takeoff weight position. After discussing this with dispatch on the ground; they told us that they don't need the zero fuel weight; just the takeoff weight. I was under the impression that our opc programs were the same and needed the same information. In the future; I will make sure that both the dispatcher and myself are using the correct numbers in the correct places in the program.

Title: B737-300 TAKES OFF WITH DATA BASED ON ZERO FUEL WT VICE ACTUAL TKOF GROSS WT.

Narrative: OPC WAS INOP. WHEN ARRIVING AT ACFT; I CALLED DISPATCH AND GAVE HIM ALL OF THE REQUESTED DATA. I HEARD HIM ASK FOR WT AND I GAVE HIM OUT ZERO FUEL WT BECAUSE THIS IS THE FIRST ITEM THAT IS ENTERED AFTER THE ATOG; WHICH HE DID NOT ASK FOR. HE VERIFIED THE INFO I HAD GIVEN HIM; INCLUDING ATIS AND LOAD SHEET INFO. I READ OUT LOUD THE INFO HE GAVE ME AS HE WAS GIVING IT TO ME AND THE CAPT AND I BOTH COPIED DOWN. ON TKOF; I HAD TO PULL MORE BACK STICK THAN I USUALLY DO. THE PLANE TOOK UP MORE RWY THAN WE HAD EXPECTED. TKOF WAS OTHERWISE NORMAL. I QUESTIONED THE STABILIZER TRIM SETTING AND WE THEN TOOK THE OPC OUT WHICH NEEDED TO CHARGE AND NOW WAS WORKING. WE DETERMINED THAT DISPATCH ENTERED IN THE ZERO FUEL WT INTO THE TKOF WT POS. AFTER DISCUSSING THIS WITH DISPATCH ON THE GND; THEY TOLD US THAT THEY DON'T NEED THE ZERO FUEL WT; JUST THE TKOF WT. I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT OUR OPC PROGRAMS WERE THE SAME AND NEEDED THE SAME INFO. IN THE FUTURE; I WILL MAKE SURE THAT BOTH THE DISPATCHER AND MYSELF ARE USING THE CORRECT NUMBERS IN THE CORRECT PLACES IN THE PROGRAM.
