Narrative:

Upon departure from dfw runway 17R; LNAV was engaged at 400 ft AGL. Steering bars indicated a slight right turn about 15 degrees. Wind at the surface was 200 degrees at 17 KTS. First fix was trexx and FMS indicated a slightly left heading 165 degrees to trexx. Noticed a DC9 out off to the right from the west side of dfw. Pointed aircraft out and we flew left of command bars keeping good separation from DC9. Quickly rechecked FMS for trexx. About this time controller asked if we were on soldo 2 RNAV departure. Confirmed departure and then were given a heading of 130 degrees. Handed off to next controller. Given direct soldo.
