Narrative:

On final approach; the PNF did not get clearance to land from the tower. I want to express my concern about how uncomfortable I am with the air carrier's reserve system. I think it is unsafe. I am always flying tired; a lot of the time I am just plain fatigued. I am concerned because it is an ongoing problem. When I speak to other crew members who are on reserve they feel the same way I do. There are a lot of little mistakes happening on the line; and if we don't do something about this unsafe reserve system; I'm afraid something worse might happen!
