On sep/tue/05; 3 each -700 flight attendant PA handsets were dropped off at the buy-back counter. The person who signed off the portion of the form to the best of my knowledge is not on the mechanic roster and it would seem from the signoff that he was performing undocumented maintenance.

Title: THREE B737-700 FLT ATTENDANT PA HANDSETS TURNED IN TO BUY-BACK COUNTER BY A PERSON NOT LISTED AS A TECHNICIAN.
Narrative: ON SEP/TUE/05; 3 EACH -700 FLT ATTENDANT PA HANDSETS WERE DROPPED OFF AT THE BUY-BACK COUNTER. THE PERSON WHO SIGNED OFF THE PORTION OF THE FORM TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE IS NOT ON THE MECH ROSTER AND IT WOULD SEEM FROM THE SIGNOFF THAT HE WAS PERFORMING UNDOCUMENTED MAINT.
