Narrative:
First officer opened his yogurt served to him with breakfast; it had copious mold. He then checked the expiration date -- it was sep/sat/05. We should not be a clearing house for expired food products. This checking of expiration dates should be a catering function.

Title: FO ON MD80 DISCOVERS MOLD ON THE YOGURT IN HIS CREW MEAL.
Narrative: FO OPENED HIS YOGURT SERVED TO HIM WITH BREAKFAST; IT HAD COPIOUS MOLD. HE THEN CHKED THE EXPIRATION DATE -- IT WAS SEP/SAT/05. WE SHOULD NOT BE A CLEARING HOUSE FOR EXPIRED FOOD PRODUCTS. THIS CHKING OF EXPIRATION DATES SHOULD BE A CATERING FUNCTION.
