Narrative:

Aircraft came into maintenance with #1 engine inboard lower thrust reverser slider RAIL and the #2 engine inboard and outboard having missing or loose fasteners. #2 engine was on MEL and locked out. Another mechanic and I worked the #1 inboard thrust reverser sleeve. There was no reference in the maintenance manual to replace the fasteners. The maintenance manual chapter 78 gave part numbers and procedures to remove and replace the fasteners. The #1 engine inboard sleeve was removed by myself and another mechanic. Repaired; reinstalled; and signed off. The #2 engine required both sleeves to be repaired. The fasteners were repaired; the sleeves reinstalled. I went into the cockpit and cycled the thrust reversers hydraulically. Check'ed good. Signed off the #2 engine because I was familiar with the repair. I had no involvement with the removal and reinstallation of the #2 engine -- found out the #2 inboard blocker doors were not connected to the arms that operate the doors. I signed off the repair per maintenance manual fastener replacement.

Narrative: ACFT CAME INTO MAINT WITH #1 ENG INBOARD LOWER THRUST REVERSER SLIDER RAIL AND THE #2 ENG INBOARD AND OUTBOARD HAVING MISSING OR LOOSE FASTENERS. #2 ENG WAS ON MEL AND LOCKED OUT. ANOTHER MECH AND I WORKED THE #1 INBOARD THRUST REVERSER SLEEVE. THERE WAS NO REF IN THE MAINT MANUAL TO REPLACE THE FASTENERS. THE MAINT MANUAL CHAPTER 78 GAVE PART NUMBERS AND PROCS TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE FASTENERS. THE #1 ENG INBOARD SLEEVE WAS REMOVED BY MYSELF AND ANOTHER MECH. REPAIRED; REINSTALLED; AND SIGNED OFF. THE #2 ENG REQUIRED BOTH SLEEVES TO BE REPAIRED. THE FASTENERS WERE REPAIRED; THE SLEEVES REINSTALLED. I WENT INTO THE COCKPIT AND CYCLED THE THRUST REVERSERS HYDRAULICALLY. CHK'ED GOOD. SIGNED OFF THE #2 ENG BECAUSE I WAS FAMILIAR WITH THE REPAIR. I HAD NO INVOLVEMENT WITH THE REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION OF THE #2 ENG -- FOUND OUT THE #2 INBOARD BLOCKER DOORS WERE NOT CONNECTED TO THE ARMS THAT OPERATE THE DOORS. I SIGNED OFF THE REPAIR PER MAINT MANUAL FASTENER REPLACEMENT.
