Narrative:

I voluntarily tried to reset the l-hand prsvo even though I forgot to take my inspection mirror. Because of number of times that I had done it with mirror; I was confident that it worked because the engine started. The aircraft took off without pneumatic bleed; which means that I accidentally overturned the reset point to lockout position.

Title: A B757-200 TECHNICIAN ATTEMPTED TO RESET THE L BLEED CTL VALVE BUT INADVERTENTLY LOCKED THE VALVE CLOSED. DISCOVERED AFTER TKOF.

Narrative: I VOLUNTARILY TRIED TO RESET THE L-HAND PRSVO EVEN THOUGH I FORGOT TO TAKE MY INSPECTION MIRROR. BECAUSE OF NUMBER OF TIMES THAT I HAD DONE IT WITH MIRROR; I WAS CONFIDENT THAT IT WORKED BECAUSE THE ENG STARTED. THE ACFT TOOK OFF WITHOUT PNEUMATIC BLEED; WHICH MEANS THAT I ACCIDENTALLY OVERTURNED THE RESET POINT TO LOCKOUT POS.
