Narrative:

#2 krueger flap dropping out of maintenance manual limits; arranged down crew for replacing #2 krueger flap actuator. Did not remember to send inspector with mechanics for rii item. Failed to realize rii was required and did not follow the procedures in mpm for overtime rii authority/authorized. I believe the event was caused by working multiple aircraft during a very busy time of my shift.

Title: A B737 HAD A #2 LEADING EDGE FLAP ACTUATOR REPLACED DUE TO HANGING DOWN OUT OF LIMITS. DISPATCHED WITHOUT FAA REQUIRED INSPECTION.

Narrative: #2 KRUEGER FLAP DROPPING OUT OF MAINT MANUAL LIMITS; ARRANGED DOWN CREW FOR REPLACING #2 KRUEGER FLAP ACTUATOR. DID NOT REMEMBER TO SEND INSPECTOR WITH MECHS FOR RII ITEM. FAILED TO REALIZE RII WAS REQUIRED AND DID NOT FOLLOW THE PROCS IN MPM FOR OVERTIME RII AUTH. I BELIEVE THE EVENT WAS CAUSED BY WORKING MULTIPLE ACFT DURING A VERY BUSY TIME OF MY SHIFT.
