Narrative:

During initial climb out; first officer (who was flying) noticed the side stick order indication symbol displayed. (Normally displayed only on the ground.) about the same time; the captain mentioned his flight director was commanding a different pitch command than the first officer's (the captain's flight director was incorrect; the first officer's showed the correct command.) also; the first officer noticed vls was not displayed on the pfd. At 1500 ft MSL; the ECAM master caution 'anti-ice captain pitot' was displayed; then the ECAM 'engine #2 reverser fault' also was displayed. The first officer flew the airplane while the captain ran the ECAM's. We climbed to 15000 ft and entered holding at ZZZ2. The captain called dispatch and maintenance. The captain recovered correct flight director indications and completed the ECAM by switching air data norm to 'captain 3.' the first officer still had the stick order indication symbol displayed indicating that the aircraft was still partially in ground mode. 'Engine #2 reverser fault' was displayed on the status page. The crew declared an emergency due to multiple ground/mode problems and returned to ZZZ landing on runway 28L after running applicable checklists; including the overweight landing checklist. A normal approach was followed by a normal landing. Maintenance replaced the landing gear control interface unit's sensor on the left main gear.

Narrative: DURING INITIAL CLBOUT; FO (WHO WAS FLYING) NOTICED THE SIDE STICK ORDER INDICATION SYMBOL DISPLAYED. (NORMALLY DISPLAYED ONLY ON THE GND.) ABOUT THE SAME TIME; THE CAPT MENTIONED HIS FLT DIRECTOR WAS COMMANDING A DIFFERENT PITCH COMMAND THAN THE FO'S (THE CAPT'S FLT DIRECTOR WAS INCORRECT; THE FO'S SHOWED THE CORRECT COMMAND.) ALSO; THE FO NOTICED VLS WAS NOT DISPLAYED ON THE PFD. AT 1500 FT MSL; THE ECAM MASTER CAUTION 'ANTI-ICE CAPT PITOT' WAS DISPLAYED; THEN THE ECAM 'ENG #2 REVERSER FAULT' ALSO WAS DISPLAYED. THE FO FLEW THE AIRPLANE WHILE THE CAPT RAN THE ECAM'S. WE CLBED TO 15000 FT AND ENTERED HOLDING AT ZZZ2. THE CAPT CALLED DISPATCH AND MAINT. THE CAPT RECOVERED CORRECT FLT DIRECTOR INDICATIONS AND COMPLETED THE ECAM BY SWITCHING AIR DATA NORM TO 'CAPT 3.' THE FO STILL HAD THE STICK ORDER INDICATION SYMBOL DISPLAYED INDICATING THAT THE ACFT WAS STILL PARTIALLY IN GND MODE. 'ENG #2 REVERSER FAULT' WAS DISPLAYED ON THE STATUS PAGE. THE CREW DECLARED AN EMER DUE TO MULTIPLE GND/MODE PROBS AND RETURNED TO ZZZ LNDG ON RWY 28L AFTER RUNNING APPLICABLE CHKLISTS; INCLUDING THE OVERWT LNDG CHKLIST. A NORMAL APCH WAS FOLLOWED BY A NORMAL LNDG. MAINT REPLACED THE LNDG GEAR CTL INTERFACE UNIT'S SENSOR ON THE L MAIN GEAR.
