Narrative:

Heavy smell of burning or melting plastic or electrical. All galley power and power ports turned off. Ife also turned off. Smell only in first class and business class. All lavatories examined. Smell/fumes dissipated then returned 20 or so mins later and heavier. Light smoke seen near ife center. Flight diverted to halifax where aircraft was removed from service.
